How to take bioregulators

Our family first started using these bioregulator complexes in 2015. Since then, more than 350 people have followed substantial Nature’s Marvels programmes with us, and the question we hear most ofteln is very practical: how do I actually take them?

If you are starting your first course, or trying to make sense of a longer programme, this guide brings the practical details together in one place. We hope it saves you a lot of head-scratching, and if anything is still unclear, just ask us.

Fast facts

  • Intensive course: 2 capsules daily for 30 days, using 3 boxes of each type.
  • Maintenance: 2 capsules daily for 10 days every 3 months, using 1 box of each type.
  • Several types can be taken together; we normally introduce no more than 6 new types in one month.
  • Take them with your first complete or substantial meal.

How the normal course works

Calendar planner for a bioregulator course

The regular serving size is 2 capsules per day and one Nature’s Marvels pack contains 20 capsules. This means the 30-day intensive course requires 3 packs of each bioregulator type and the 10-day maintenance course requires one pack.

Some very sensitive people (in our experience 1%) spread them out taking 1 capsule per day instead of 2 and they modify their programme accordingly. Many others decide to boost particular bioregulator types and take extra intensive courses (see the section Repeating an intensive course below).

Stage Daily use Length Boxes per type Usual rhythm
Intensive course 2 capsules 30 days 3 When starting a type: sometimes repeated later where there is a reason to boost that particular type.
Maintenance 2 capsules 10 days 1 Every 3 months during the first 2 years of the programme.
Long-term maintenance 2 capsules 10 days 1 Every 6 months during years 3 and 4 and once a year only after the initial 4-year programme.

The three-month maintenance cycle applies to each type after its intensive course. With a larger programme, different groups may begin in different months, so a simple planner becomes very useful. We can put the dates together for you if you would rather not keep track of it yourself.

When to take bioregulators

Breakfast time

Take your bioregulators with your first complete or substantial meal of the day. If breakfast is just a hot drink and a piece of fruit, that would not be considered substantial. You can take them just before, during, or just after the meal. We prefer taking them during the meal because it is easy to remember.

Take all the types in that month’s group together and keep them on the same dates. There is no need to stagger the different bioregulators across the day.

Keep activated charcoal, zeolite, and other binding products away from bioregulators because they may interfere with absorption. All other ordinary vitamins, minerals, botanicals, and other supplements do not interact with bioregulators. Continue prescription medicines as directed. If you take medication or are managing a health condition, include that information when you ask us for programme guidance and check anything clinical with your GP or pharmacist.

Taking several bioregulators together

Strong green tree

As a practical rule, we normally introduce no more than 6 new types in one month. If a programme needs more, we arrange the remaining types across later months rather than trying to start everything at once. You can take more than 6 bioregulator types in one month when you've had them before, in other words, when you're on maintenance.

Certain combinations come up again and again in the programmes we put together. These are the most common. These are based on common needs or on the original combinations Dr Khavinson put together.

Programme focus Common combination
Cardiovascular Heart + Blood Vessel + Liver
Carbohydrate metabolism Pancreas + Pineal + Blood Vessel
Brain / CNS Brain/CNS + Blood Vessel + Liver
Digestive Liver + Pancreas + Stomach
Immune Thymus + Bone Marrow + Pineal + Blood Vessel
Kidney Kidney + Blood Vessel
Lipid / lipoprotein metabolism Liver + Pancreas + Blood Vessel
Movement / joints / bones Cartilage + Muscle + Blood Vessel + Brain/CNS + Parathyroid
Stress / recovery Thymus + Liver + Pineal
Thyroid Thyroid + Blood Vessel
Vascular Blood Vessel + Heart + Liver + Thymus
Vision / cognitive Retina + Brain/CNS + Blood Vessel

Building a bioregulator programme

If you are taking more than one group of bioregulators, you are effectively building a programme. The main thing to keep on top of is when each type is due again and that makes a calendar very helpful.

Each new type starts with a 30-day intensive course of 2 capsules daily, followed by a 10-day regular course every three months. After 2 years, the 10-day course can usually move to every six months. After 4 years, maintenance is normally once a year.

writing downBioregulators are taken in courses rather than continuously because the aim is to reinforce the body’s own regulatory signalling. Those signals can set off cellular processes that continue after the course ends, which is why maintenance can be spaced further apart over time.

With a larger programme, put the future maintenance dates in your calendar as soon as you schedule each initial intensive course. Once several groups are involved, the three-month, six-month and eventually yearly courses fall on different dates throughout the year and are surprisingly easy to forget. A normal calendar or simple spreadsheet is enough: keep the intensive dates, next maintenance date and any planned repeat intensive course for each type.

If you would rather not build the schedule yourself, we are happy to help. We can put the groups and schedule/calendar together with you and help keep the programme manageable. If needed, you can book free one-to-one programme guidance.

When a complete programme makes sense

Much of the longer-term work we refer to, including Bill Lawrence’s programme, has used the full range over a longer period, supporting healthy ageing across the whole body rather than some just some organs or systems. We now oversee more than 50 people following substantial programmes of this kind ourselves.

A complete programme makes particular sense when several areas overlap, or when the aim is broader healthy ageing and longevity. If you have one clear priority, a smaller programme may be enough.

Our complete programme uses 19 bioregulator types for women and 20 for men. It is staged rather than taken all at once. The initial programme generally covers 2-4 years, including the intensive courses and maintenance rhythm. After that, maintenance is normally once a year.

Which group comes first depends on your priorities, previous courses, relevant tests, medicines and supplements, and what has already changed. This is one reason we offer continuous free one-to-one programme guidance.

Repeating an intensive course

Arrow illustrating an occasional intensive repeat

If one organ or system remains a priority, we sometimes repeat its 30-day intensive course rather than wait for the next 10-day maintenance course.

We normally leave about two months between intensive courses of the same type and limit them to no more than five in a year.

Blood Vessel, Thymus, Bone Marrow, Brain/CNS, and Pineal are among the types we sometimes repeat this way. They are examples, not a list everybody should follow. The reason for repeating a course matters more than how often other people use that bioregulator.

Tracking progress

Telomere length test report

Before you start, it helps to choose one or two things you would genuinely like to compare later. It may be sleep, daytime energy, stamina, mood, digestion, urinary comfort, mobility, a photograph, or a test you already follow. Keep it simple enough that you will still be doing it a month later.

Some customers notice a change within 10–15 days. Others need 4–6 months, and some feel no obvious difference during maintenance. How you feel day to day is useful, but it is only one way of judging a longer programme.

If you already have a useful measure for the area you are following, keep using it. That might be a blood test, blood pressure, sperm count, or another marker already used in your care. Photographs can help when the change is visible; some customers have used the same angle and lighting to follow spider veins over time.

For a longer or complete programme, some people choose biological-age, telomere, or pace-of-ageing testing. Six months, a year, or longer makes more sense for these measures than looking for a weekly change. It is also worth noting any substantial changes in sleep, food, movement, alcohol, illness, treatment, or other supplements during the same period.

What customers have taught us

Our experience began in our own family and now covers more than ten years of putting programmes together, talking to people while they are taking them, following what changes, and looking at repeat results. More than 350 people have now followed a considerable bioregulator programme with us.

Big happy familyWe also have repeat test results from more than 50 people. In that follow-up group, the average estimated telomere age on later testing was approximately 10 years lower. Some people did considerably better than the average, and others less well.

The differences between people have taught us as much as the averages. Over time, a few recurring factors have stood out, including sleep, circadian timing, and how consistently the wider plan is followed. These are customer follow-ups, not a clinical trial. There was no control group, and over a long programme people may also change their food, movement, alcohol, treatments, or other supplements. We cannot say that the capsules alone caused the changes.

That follow-up has changed the questions we ask and what we pay attention to. Gill, who follows the programme with her husband and brother, put one part of it very simply:

Seeing improvements encourages me to maintain my diet and exercise routine. Success builds on success.

That is one reason we like tracking. A useful result can make somebody more willing to keep the habits that helped create the conditions for it.

The rest of life still matters

Two people can follow the same programme and get quite different results. After years of follow-up, we have a much better sense of some of the reasons.

Pineal and sleep are a good example. A Pineal course does not make bedtime irrelevant. If sleep and waking times move constantly, evening light is bright, and meals run late, the body is receiving mixed timing signals. Our guide to the best bedtime and why it matters explains this in more detail.

Man stretching

With Muscle or Cartilage, walking time, a simple strength exercise, or range of movement can tell you more than a general feeling of “better” or “worse”. Food, movement, alcohol, stress, and consistency can matter as well; our physical and mental keys to supplement success, and Food plan 1, cover some of that wider ground.

We have learnt far more from following people over time than we can fit into one article, and some of the co-factors have surprised us.

We are always happy to share what we are learning, hear what you notice yourself, and help you decide what is worth tracking as you go.

Where our guidance comes from

Dr Khavinson's research: Experimental work at the Kirov Military Medical Academy dates back to 1973 and later developed into the peptide-bioregulation work associated with Vladimir Khavinson and V. G. Morozov. A published review describes that starting point, and Khavinson’s later 35-year research review gives a useful overview of the wider programme.

Nature’s Marvels history: The active ingredients are the same active amino-acid complexes used in the Khavinson formulations, with excipients we prefer in the current UK-made product. The wider literature also includes different preparations, doses, and routes, so not every Khavinson paper is directly a study of today’s retail capsule. Our article on bioregulators for health and longevity goes further into the research.

Dr Bill Lawrence: Lawrence has been administering two long-running studies using Khavinson peptide bioregulators, one following telomere length and the other epigenetic age. His presentation with Dr Khavinson on The Mechanisms of Peptide Regulation of Ageing gives us useful long-term context, although these are not controlled clinical trials.

Bill Lawrence with Daniel Perez Vidal

For the Ageless: Our own journey with bioregulators began as a family in 2015, when Daniel Pérez Vidal first turned to Dr Khavinson and his team for a protocol for his father. Since then, we have come to know many of the key people working in this field, while also learning a great deal from the people we have helped ourselves.

More than 300 people follow substantial bioregulator programmes with us, including 50+ who have joined the full programme. Over the years, we have also seen how much the wider picture can matter: sleep, circadian timing, food, movement, consistency and other co-factors often help explain why two people following a similar programme can have very different results.

We are always happy to share what we know, and just as importantly, to keep learning from researchers, practitioners and from the experiences people share with us.

Common questions

Can I take the day’s capsules together?

Yes. Take all the bioregulators in that month’s group together with your first substantial meal and keep them on the same dates.

Can I take other supplements at the same time?

Most ordinary supplements can usually stay in the same routine. Keep charcoal, zeolite, and other binding products away from the dose. Continue prescription medicines as directed and check clinical questions with your GP or pharmacist.

Are side effects or interactions known?

The historical Khavinson literature reports good tolerability, and that broadly matches our own experience with Nature’s Marvels. We still avoid the stronger claim that there have been “no side effects or interactions in 40 years”. The older literature does not provide the kind of adverse-event and drug-interaction surveillance expected of a modern medicine programme, and no supplement suits everybody.

Nature’s Marvels is not suitable for children or during pregnancy or breastfeeding. If you feel unwell while taking it, stop and get suitable advice. If you take prescription medication or have a medical condition, speak to an appropriate healthcare professional.

How quickly might I notice something?

Some customers notice a change within 10–15 days. Others need 4–6 months, and some notice no obvious difference at all. That is why a simple before-and-after measure is more useful than trying to judge every day.

Are Nature’s Marvels vegetarian or vegan?

No. The active amino-acid complexes are porcine-derived. The source material comes from animals reared in Denmark, and the capsules and packs are manufactured in the UK.

How are bioregulators different from organ meats?
Amino acid molecule

Organ meats provide broad nutrition: protein, vitamins, minerals, fats, and naturally occurring peptides. Nature’s Marvels contains selected organ-derived amino-acid complexes in a standardised capsule. The amount and purpose are different from simply eating liver, heart, or another organ as food.

Are Nature’s Marvels the same as Khavinson bioregulators?

The active ingredients are the same active amino-acid complexes as the Khavinson formulations. Nature’s Marvels is the current UK-manufactured oral range, with its own excipients and presentation. Research on a different preparation, dose, or route should not automatically be described as a trial of the current capsule.

The excipients are currently being updated, so check the pack or the current product page for the latest ingredient list.

Why does the pack list amino acids?

Peptides are made from amino acids joined by peptide bonds. Nature’s Marvels labels the amino-acid components of each active complex. They are not the same thing as an ordinary free-form amino-acid supplement.

Why don’t you recommend synthetic peptides sold online for self-injection?

We do not stock or recommend unlicensed experimental peptides bought online for self-injection. This is separate from licensed peptide medicines prescribed and monitored properly.

The US FDA has raised concerns about several compounded peptide substances, including limited or absent human safety information for some compounds, possible immunogenicity, aggregation, and peptide-related impurities. With injectable products, manufacturing quality and sterility matter as well. We would not regard an online vial of BPC-157, CJC-1295, ipamorelin, epitalon, or a similar experimental product as equivalent to an oral Nature’s Marvels bioregulator.

Where can I find one-to-one guidance?

Right here. Our one-to-one bioregulator guidance is free for prospective and existing programme customers. We can help you choose priorities, organise the programme, look at previous courses and repeats, and decide what may be useful to track. You can complete the short questionnaire and book a one-to-one, or simply contact us with a question.

Thanks for your question, Gerald. Yes, Nature’s Marvels bioregulators are made from natural peptides derived from pork and contain no artificial additives. They are not synthetic. This is important because it is part of the reason why they have a long-lasting effect when taken at the right intervals as explained in this article. Please contact us at comtact@fortheageless.com if you have any other questions.
